The SimpleGoals text message program

SimpleGoals is a daily goal-accountability service that sends text messages to customers who sign up by texting START to the SimpleGoals number or by signing up at simplegoals.net. Message frequency is user-configurable and starts at no more than 5 messages per day, plus replies during setup. Message and data rates may apply; your carrier may charge you for messages you send or receive.

Information we use

SimpleGoals uses your phone number, goal settings, timezone, reminder settings, and daily results to provide the service. We also maintain operational records needed to deliver messages, track usage, and protect the service. Your SMS opt-in records and phone number are used to deliver the messages you requested.

How we use information

We use this information to operate your goals, send requested reminders, record your daily results, troubleshoot service issues, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing.

Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Service providers may process information only as needed to host the application, store data, deliver messages, or process payments you request. They may not use it for their own purposes.

Retention and security

We use reasonable safeguards for stored information and retain it while needed to operate the service or meet legal and operational requirements. You can delete your account and associated data at any time by texting END to the SimpleGoals number and confirming the deletion prompt.

Your choices

You may stop receiving messages at any time by replying UNSUBSCRIBE or STOP to the SimpleGoals number; we will not send further messages until you reply START to resume. You may delete your account by replying END. You may also stop using the service and request account assistance from the SimpleGoals service owner.
